Splash Tented Camp

Kwara Private Reserve, Okavango Delta

Splash Tented Camp

Splash is a luxury safari camp located in the 175,000-hectare Kwara Reserve, within the greater Okavango Delta. This private reserve is shared by only two camps, ensuring exclusive game-viewing.

Splash Tented Camp offers a fabulous wilderness experience in the north-eastern region of the Okavango Delta, from where it also enjoys good access to Moremi Game Reserve, the heart of the Okavango Delta. Wildlife sightings within the Kwara Reserve can include all of the big cats (lion, cheetah, leopard), as well as the elusive wild dog. Guests at Splash Camp can also expect to see elephant, giraffe, zebra, buffalo, waterbuck, kudu and a good variety of birds, including carmine bee-eaters, ostrich, sacred ibis and white-breasted cuckoo-shrike, among many other highlights.

Splash Camp offers 12 tented rooms, each raised off the ground on wooden decking. The rooms are shaded by large indigenous trees and overlook a waterhole where game frequently comes to drink. A sandy pathway leads guests to the dining, lounge and bar area, in front of which is an open fire pit where guests can enjoy an aperitif while recounting the day’s sightings. Other facilities at Splash Camp include a small plunge pool and gift shop.

Splash Enclave is located a short distance from the main camp and can be booked privately for groups of up to 10. Enclave has its own plunge pool, lounge, bar and dining area, and offers a private safari experience.

Splash and Splash Enclave are sister camps of Lebala and Kwara Camps, both renowned for their fantastic guides and superb locations.
