Day 1: Arrive Livingstone
You will be met on arrival at Livingstone Airport and transferred to Waterberry Zambezi Lodge, where you stay two nights (full-board basis).
Waterberry Zambezi Lodge
Waterberry Zambezi Lodge is a small and informal lodge, situated in a spot of wilderness just 30 minutes from Livingstone. Leaving Livingstone you will turn off the main road and wind your way through the mopane woodland towards the river to reach Waterberry.The lodge is in a secluded position on the banks of the spectacular Zambezi River, with wonderful views to the Zimbabwean game park on the opposite bank.
The en-suite guest rooms are housed in thatched cottages – some situated on the riverbank, some overlooking a small dam. Several of the rooms have their own decks for sunbathing, bird watching, and for private dinners.Enjoy al fresco meals served in the lodge dining area or from the comfort of your room, alongside traditional bush dinners and barbecues cooked under the stars.
Your stay includes house wine and local drinks, full board and one activity per day.

Day 2: Livingstone and Victoria Falls
A wide range of activities are available during your stay at Waterberry (one activity per day is included), from tours of Victoria Falls, sunset or daytime cruises, fishing, island picnics and guided birding walks, to guided village walks, tours of the town and local markets.
The Victoria Falls are of course the main attraction and can be photographed from many different points.
For the more adventurous, there is white water rafting, zip wires, canoeing and bungee jumping. Or perhaps experience the Zambezi River on a relaxing catamaran sunset cruise? Wildlife enthusiasts should also consider a river safari for the excellent aquatic- and bird-life, or even try your luck at fly fishing!

Day 3: Chobe National Park
Depart Waterberry Lodge and transfer by road and boat to Muchenje Lodge, in Chobe National Park, where you stay three nights (full-board basis). The lodge is approx. two hours from Livingstone and Victoria Falls.
Muchenje Safari Lodge
Muchenje Safari Lodge sits atop a high escarpment overlooking the banks of the Chobe River and the flood plains beyond. It is a superb location; Chobe plays host to some of the world's best game viewing, and Muchenje is perfectly located for seeing the best that Chobe has to offer.Chobe is famous for its huge herds of elephant and buffalo, along with numerous predators, including lion, leopard and wild dog. There is a great diversity of plains game and bird species.
During your stay you can enjoy game drives in 4x4 vehicles, by boat on the Chobe River, bush walking-safaris, night eyes (night-time game drives after dinner with stoplights), or guided village tours.

Day 4: Game-viewing in Chobe National Park
Muchenje offers a private and varied safari experience. With a maximum of 22 guests in camp, you have a wide choice of activities to take part in, without ever feeling that you are part of a big group.
Game drives are conducted in open and comfortable 4x4 safari vehicles, with knowledgeable, professionally-qualified guides – either early morning, afternoon or even full-day drives are available.
Game viewing by boat on the Chobe River offers a good chance to see the huge herds of elephant for which Chobe is famous, as well as many other mammals and birds attracted to the water’s edge, not to mention aquatic species!
Bush walking safaris will allow you to learn more about the intricacies of the bush, particularly the plant and insect life that can easily be missed on traditional game drives.
Night game drives are an excellent opportunity to encounter various nocturnal species, including leopard, bushbaby, aardvark, and porcupine, though do keep in mind that sightings of many of the above are rare.

Day 5: Game-viewing in Chobe National Park
Continue your exploration of Chobe National Park in the company of the Muchenje guides.
Activities are flexible and you can mix game drives, boat safaris and walking activities.

Day 6: Departure
Depart Muchenje after breakfast and transfer by road and boat to Livingstone Airport for your onward transfer.
