Day 1: Arrive Nairobi
You will be met on arrival in Nairobi and transferred to the Eka Hotel, or similar, for one night on bed & breakfast basis. Evening at leisure.

The Eka Hotel is a modern hotel ideally located along Mombasa road and with easy access to both Nairobi International and Wilson Airports. It offers 167 air-conditioned rooms, gym, swimming pool, and Wi-Fi throughout.The Galaxy Restaurant offers dining with locally sourced produce, a buffet breakfast, a la carte and snack dining, and 24-hour room service.
Day 2: Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve
You will be met by your chief guide this morning at 7am in the hotel reception, ready for departure at 7:30am. We advise that you request a wake-up call from the hotel staff.
Leaving Nairobi after breakfast, you'll travel towards Kenya's fertile highlands and head down the Rift Escarpment on a road built by Italian prisoners of war during World War II. Look out for the chapel they built at the foot of the escarpment. You'll pass the impressive Longonot earth satellite station as you continue through the Rift Valley to Narok, and then on to the Masai Mara and your lodge in time for lunch. After lunch and a siesta, embark on an afternoon game drive, returning to the lodge as the sun sets.

Keekorok Lodge
Keekorok Game Lodge was opened in 1965 and lies at the southern end of the Masai Mara National Reserve, approx. 280 km from Nairobi. The first lodge to be built in the Mara, it is situated in the direct path of the annual migration. At the height of the migration, Keekorok often finds itself in the midst of the herds, allowing for amazing game viewing from the comfort of the lodge.Keekorok is an attractive lodge. Much of its charm lies in its liberal use of local building materials. Sandstone, cedar wood and other indigenous materials are used throughout rooms and public areas, lending the lodge a natural, earthy quality. In front of the lodge there is a 300m elevated walkway that meanders through a section of riverine forest to a small bar overlooking a dam where resident hippo and other game are regularly seen.
Day 3: Masai Mara National Reserve
Embark on early morning and afternoon game drives in the Masai Mara, returning to Keekorok Lodge in the evening.
Considered by many to be one of the foremost natural wonders of the world, the Masai Mara is a land of breath-taking vistas and varied landscapes, from vast rolling plains, acacia woodlands, and dense thickets of scrub, to the riverine eco-system of the Mara River. Its savannah plains teem with endless herds of grazing game—and their respective predators. You will travel with an experienced guide in a sturdy vehicle ensuring that you have the best chance of seeing and understanding all that the park has to offer, then back to Keekorok Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru
Leaving the Masai Mara after breakfast, you'll travel through what is sometimes referred to as the ‘breadbasket’ of Kenya, where acres of wheat and barley fields define the landscape, as you head north to Narok, the district headquarters of this part of Maasailand.
Continue across the vast plains on the floor of the Rift Valley, keeping an eye out for herds of giraffe and gazelle as you head up the Mau Escarpment, before arriving at Lake Nakuru. The waters here are often coloured flamingo pink, reflecting the thousands of birds that line its shores. After lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge, depart for an afternoon game drive in Nakuru National Park before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Lake Nakuru Lodge
Lake Nakuru Lodge is situated in the heart of one of Kenya's most densely populated wetland National Parks. It is only two leisurely hours' drive from Nairobi, a drive that takes you through beautiful forested uplands and past a series of lakes.On the outskirts of the bustling market town of Nakuru lies a truly remarkable national park that has achieved international fame. Both black and white rhino are being given a new lease of life in this 188sq km, fully-fenced park. The present rhino population is over 50 and continuing to multiply. The Rothschilds giraffe is another rarity and the park also has good numbers of buffalo, leopard, zebra, eland, waterbuck and lion.
Lake Nakuru Lodge is in the south-east ecological niche of the park, with commanding views of the lake and the flamingos for which it is justly famous. Attractive gardens surround the lodge and cottages. There is a good programme of activities and evening entertainment.
Day 5: Lake Nakuru – Amboseli National Park
After an early breakfast, depart Lake Nakuru with a picnic lunch, leaving the Rift Valley behind and continuing towards Amboseli.
Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park en-route to Amboseli Serena Lodge, arriving in the early evening.
Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena.
Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge
Amboseli Serena Lodge is situated in the heart of Amboseli National Park, secluded amidst acacia trees, and with stunning views across the savannah plains to Kilimanjaro.Amboseli Serena offers 96 rooms, housed within single-storey units and scattered across the gardens and pool area. The interior decor follows a Maasai theme, with hand-painted frescoes, bright Maasai fabrics and elaborate carvings. This theme carries across to the public areas, visible in the wildlife murals that adorn the walls of the dining room, or the terrace with fire pit.
Day 6: Amboseli National Park – Tsavo West
After an early morning game drive in Amboseli, return to the lodge for lunch, before departing from Amboseli for Tsavo West.
It is a drive of approx 2½ hours from Amboseli to Tsavo West, taking you east across the spectacular Shetani lava flow, a reminder of the molten outpouring that spilled down the scenic slopes of the nearby Chyulu Hills over the last three centuries. From there, a zig-zagging road through scrub thorn and acacia leads into Tsavo National Park, the largest of Kenya’s parks. Expect game-viewing opportunities along the way, with lots of gerenuk in this region.
Arrive at your home for the evening, Kilaguni Serena Lodge, as the sun sets.
Kilaguni Serena Lodge
Superbly situated in the lee of Mount Kilimanjaro and sheltered by the volcanic splendour of the Chyulu Hills, this classic stone-built lodge overlooks its own water hole, which is visited daily by elephants, buffalos and a wide variety of plains game. One of the first lodges ever to be built in Tsavo, the lodge is cool, tranquil and hushed for optimum game-viewing. It is also ideally placed for visits to all the park's prime attractions.Kilaguni features 56 spacious en-suite rooms, each with its own veranda, some overlooking the waterhole, some the Chyulu Hills.
Day 7: Tsavo West – Taita Hills
Enjoy a morning game drive in Tsavo, including a visit to the Mzima Springs with their underwater viewing holes.
Following lunch at the lodge, continue to Taita Hills Game Reserve, where you check-in at Saltlick Lodge for one night.
Dinner and overnight at Saltlick Lodge.
Saltlick Lodge
Saltlick Lodge is located in the heart of the Taita Hills Game Reserve, a private wildlife sanctuary adjacent to Tsavo National Park. All rooms are built in two storey blocks from a central pod and linked together by elevated platforms which overlook a salt slick and small waterhole. The rooms are spacious and have all the necessary modern conveniences. The restaurant, bar and main balconies have views over the water hole and salt lick, which is constantly in use by the resident wildlife. There is also an underground hide for closer encounters.Day 8: Tsavo East – Mombasa
After breakfast enjoy a morning game drive in the Taita Hills before returning to the lodge for lunch. Following lunch, continue to Mombasa, where you will be dropped off at the airport (if departing this afternoon) or at your hotel if overnighting.
