Day 1-3: Maun – Lebala Camp
Fly Maun to Linyanti on the AM flight. On arrival in Linyanti, meet with your safari guide and transfer the short distance to Lebala Camp, where you stay three nights (full-board with activities).

Lebala Camp
Kwando Lebala Camp is set in the extensive grasslands and seasonal floodplains of the Linyanti marshes. It is one of only two camps – the other being its sister camp, Kwando Lagoon – within the Kwando Game Reserve, Botswana's largest private concession.Situated between Chobe and the Okavango Delta, this is a region famed for its superb game-viewing. Lebala – a Setswana word which roughly translated means "wide open plains" – overlooks a vast wilderness teeming with game. The region is particularly noted for its huge elephant and buffalo populations, which appear in their greatest numbers during the dry season (June to Oct), as well as its wild dog population, which typically dens in the area during June and July.
During your stay at Lebala, you’ll be accommodated in one of eight tented suites, each set on a raised wooden platform overlooking the marshland in front of the camp. The tents have been elegantly furnished and feature polished teak floors and sliding doors. The en-suite bathrooms have his & her basins, clawfoot bathtubs and outdoor showers.
A light campfire breakfast of porridge and cereals starts the day at Kwando Lebala, followed by a buffet brunch on return from the morning's game activity. Dinner is a three-course meal, served by candlelight in the dining room. Nightcaps around the fire usually follow.
Guest facilities at Lebala include lounge, bar, small swimming pool, and game-viewing hide. Activities available include day and night game drives and seasonal bush walks.
Day 4-6: Lebala to Lagoon Camp
After breakfast, say goodbye to Lebala Camp and transfer by 4x4 to Lagoon Camp (three nights, full-board with activities), enjoying a game drive en route.
Lagoon Camp
Lagoon Camp lies on the shady banks of the Kwando River, among tall and ancient African Ebony and Marula trees. It is part of the private Kwando Reserve, which incorporates 80 kilometres of river frontage, permanent floodplains, and woodland to the west of the Kwando River.The Kwando region is home to a rich variety of wildlife but is most noted for its very large elephant populations, which are present in the region year-round. Impala, lechwe, kudu, zebra, giraffe, sitatunga, sable, roan, waterbuck, buffalo, bushbuck and the smaller antelope are also present and regularly sighted. Major predators include lion, leopard, cheetah, wild dog and hyena.
Lagoon camp accommodates up to 16 guests in eight comfortably appointed twin-bedded safari style tents. The tents are en-suite, with his & her basins, flush toilets and spacious outside showers. Hot water is propane-heated, ensuring a supply no matter what the weather or time of day. Each tent opens onto a deck overlooking the lagoon in front of the camp.
Freshly prepared meals are served in the thatched dining room overlooking the lagoon.
Facilities include a lounge, plunge pool and curio shop. Activities at Lagoon Camp include game drives in open 4x4 vehicles, walking safaris (at the manager’s discretion), night game drives, boat cruises in a double decker boat and river fishing.
Day 7-9: Lagoon Camp – Kwara Camp
Depart Lagoon Camp after breakfast by inter-camp flight bound for Kwara Camp, in the Okavango Delta, where you stay for three nights (full-board with activities).
Kwara Camp
Kwara Camp is situated overlooking a secluded lagoon in the northern Okavango Delta, from where it enjoys access to the permanent waterways of the Delta and the surrounding floodplains.Kwara accommodates a maximum of 16 guests in eight traditionally styled tents on raised decks, each offering a superb view of the lagoon. Towering African ebony and mangosteen trees provide shade and ensure that the camp is always cool, while attracting plentiful birdlife – adding to the feeling of serenity in one of the Okavango's best kept secrets!
Situated within a private concession, Kwara offers a wide variety of activities. In addition to day and night game drives, the camp offers game walks and mokoro trips, as well as power boating and fishing (spinning equipment is provided).
Day 10: Return Maun
After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for the light aircraft transfer back to Maun and onward connections.
