2019 DEPARTURES AVAILABLE | This accommodated small group safari follows a circular route around the Okavango Delta, starting and ending in Livingstone, Zambia. It offers a great value trip through three countries – Botswana, Namibia and Zambia.

Outline Itinerary

  1. Day 1: Livingstone – Maramba Lodge

    You will be met on arrival at Livingstone Airport and transferred to Maramba Lodge for one night. Dinner to own account.

  2. Day 2: Susuwe/West Caprivi National Park – Camp Kwando (D)

    Your safari begins in Livingstone. You will be met by your guide after breakfast for a short briefing before heading west to start your journey, crossing the border into Namibia at Katima Mulilo with a stop for lunch en route.

  3. Day 3: Susuwe/West Caprivi National Park – Camp Kwando (B, D)

    Start the day with an early breakfast followed by a game drive in the nearby Mudumu Game Reserve, which offers the prospect of seeing large game such as elephant, lion, leopard, hyena and a host of antelope, including kudu.

  4. Day 4: Okavango Delta – Nxamaseri Lodge (B, L, D)

    Your safari continues east along the Caprivi Strip until reaching the Okavango River and the impressive Popa Falls. Here you can take a short walk through the bush to get a close look at the rapids, which occur just before the Okavango River enters the Delta.

  5. Day 5: Okavango Delta – Nxamaseri Lodge (B, L, D)

    The early morning in the Okavango is very beautiful, as you’ll discover today as you embark on a motorboat cruise through the Delta’s papyrus-lined channels, stopping to spy wildlife on the water’s edge.

  6. Day 6: Maun – Maun Lodge (B, D)

    Continue your journey south through the beautiful Okavango Delta to Maun, arriving around noon and stopping for lunch in a local restaurant.

  7. Day 7-8: Moremi/Khwai – Khwai Guesthouse (B, L, D)

    Leave Maun this morning and continue to the Khwai River region, which borders the famous Moremi Game Reserve.

  8. Day 9: Nata – Nata Lodge (B, D)

    An early start will see you journey to Nata on the edge of the Makgadikgadi Pans. The landscape changes dramatically as you pass from the lush greenery of the Khwai river region to the immense saltpans of Makgadikgadi.

  9. Day 10-11: Kasane – The Old House (B, D)

    Today starts with a visit to the Nata Bird Sanctuary, where, depending on the time of year, you can see large flocks of flamingo and pelicans nesting on the pans.

  10. Day 12: Livingstone, Zambia – Maramba Lodge (B)

    Depart Kasane after breakfast at the guesthouse and cross the Zambezi River by ferry to arrive in Livingstone, on the Zambian side of Victoria Falls. Overnight at Maramba Lodge.

  11. Day 13: Transfer to airport for onward arrangements (B)

    Breakfast and check out of the lodge. Transfer to airport for flight out.
