Dudhwa Wildlife Safari

Dudhwa Wildlife Safari

Experience the most remote and beautiful of India's National Parks, Dudhwa, in the far north of the country close to the border with Nepal.

Outline Itinerary

  1. Day 1: Delhi - Lucknow

You will be collected from your hotel in Delhi before the crack of dawn and transferred to Delhi Railway Station to catch the early morning train to Lucknow (first class carriage).

  2. Day 2: Lucknow

After breakfast set off with your guide on a full-day city highlights tour of Lucknow, taking in the Dilkusha Palace, the Clock Tower, Chota Imambara (the Palace of Light), and the famous tombs of Saadat Ali Khan and Begum Murshidjadi.

  3. Day 3: Lucknow - Dudhwa

After breakfast, depart Lucknow for Dudhwa – a long but scenic drive of 5-6 hours through fabulous countryside. On arrival in Dudhwa National Park, check into the Tree of Life Jaagir Lodge for 3 nights in a luxury room (incl. all meals).

  4. Day 4-5: Dudhwa National Park

The next two days are free for you to explore Dudhwa on morning and afternoon game drives by private vehicle. You set off early each morning, returning to the lodge in time for lunch, before heading out again in the late afternoon, thus avoiding the mid-day sun.

  5. Day 6: Dudhwa - Lucknow

After a final drive in Dudhwa, set off on the return journey to Lucknow.

  6. Day 7: Departure

Take the morning train to Delhi (first class carriage).
