Small Group Safaris in Uganda

In Uganda, small group safaris naturally tend to revolve around the experience of gorilla tracking, though there are also options for extended itineraries that allow for chimpanzee tracking as well as more traditional game viewing experiences (on land and water) in Queen Elizabeth, Lake Mburo and Murchison Falls National Parks.

The length of these programmes varies. The 6-day Gorillas of Bwindi focuses on gorilla tracking in Bwindi and game-viewing in southern Queen Elizabeth National Park, while the 11-day Complete Uganda offers a more comprehensive overview of the country, charting a course from Murchison Falls National Park in the north, through Kibale Forest and Queen Elizabeth National Park, to Bwindi Forest, before completing the circuit back to Entebbe via Lake Mburo National Park. Both itineraries can be extended, abbreviated and customised to a degree.

The small group safaris depart frequently during the peak safari seasons (Jun-Oct; Dec-Feb), and more sporadically outside of these months. They will run with a minimum of only two passengers, ensuring regular departures.
