Gane & Marshall

Unforgettable journeys,
tailor-made for you.

Community Projects Africa

Gane and Marshall has a long history of supporting aid and cultural tourism projects throughout Africa. The company is developing and promoting sustainable tourism which allows the traveller to interact positively with the country that is visited.

Jeremy Gane, Managing Director of Gane and Marshall, is also a trustee and secretary for the UK registered charity Community Projects Africa. This charity funds and manages several projects in Africa. Many of these projects are operational thanks to the generosity of Gane and Marshall travellers. Our Kilimanjaro trekkers have enabled the charity to set up an irrigation project, build school latrines, and just recently commence work on a new school kitchen at Tinga Tinga Masai village on West Kilimanjaro. UP and coming mountain porters are helped through college so that they may work as professional mountain guides. In Monduli, north Tanzania, a new project called Cypress Hill is now under construction. The centre will give vocational training and medical care to Tanzanians affected by HIV/Aids. In Ethiopia  medical officers now regularly visit the remote Simiens thanks to support from our travellers.

Please contact Community Projects Africa (CPA) if you wish to learn more about their projects and perhaps you too will want to offer your support.
