Ryalls is a four-star hotel originally built in the 1920s by an Englishwoman to cater for travellers on the Cape to Cairo route. It was the most famous hotel in Blantyre for many years and still retains its historic importance in the city.

It was the most famous hotel in Blantyre for many years and still retains its historic importance in the city. Recently acquired and refurbished to modern standards by the Protea group, Ryalls retains much of its colonial-era charm while offering up-to-date facilities and a fabulous restaurant.

Ryalls is a 20 minute drive from the airport in the central business district and is an excellent choice for a night or two in Blantyre.

All are very comfortably furnished with en-suite bathrooms (with separate bath and shower), satellite TV, mini bar, wi-fi and air conditioning.
