Guests at Olepangi Farm have plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy, from horse riding, long walks around the farm, to day excursions to Ngare Ndare Forest Reserve, which is home to over 200 species of birds, small mammals including colobus monkey, and beautiful waterfalls.
Furthermore, Olepangi is within reasonable driving distance of Ol Pejeta Conservancy and Samburu National Reserve, allowing for full-day game drives.
More leisurely pleasures include croquet, yoga, or just relaxing by the pool!
Accommodation
Olepangi offers 10 rooms and cottages, each individually furnished with antique pieces, Persian rugs, indigenous textiles and comfy chairs. Some of the rooms have four-poster beds. Each room has a verandah or terrace with far-reaching views of the gardens and wonderful landscapes.
Of the 10 rooms, 5 are located in the main house, which divided into Eastern and Western wings, with three and two bedrooms respectively, making these rooms ideal for families or a group of friends. Other rooms are located in separate cottages spread throughout the grounds, each with its own layout and character.
Each of Olepangi’s rooms has an ensuite shower room with hand made, locally produced organic soap, shampoo and conditioner.
