Manyara Green Camp

Lake Manyara National Park

Manyara Green Camp

Lake Manyara Green Camp is situated at the foot of the Endabash Waterfall in the southern part of Lake Manyara National Park.

One of only 2 camps inside the park boundaries, Manyara Green Camp is a wonderful place to spend a few days enjoying the many activities on offer. These include 4x4 game drives, exploring the forest canopy on wooden walkways, guided walks along the lakeshore (frequented by flamingos), and canoeing on the lake. More active travellers can even enjoy a full-day walk to Marang Forest on the top of the escarpment with spectacular views. Mountain biking is also offered.

Lake Manyara is renowned as being one of Tanzania’s most beautiful parks. It also offers excellent game-viewing. Found within the park are large numbers of elephant, antelope, zebra, baboons, monkeys, warthog, giraffe and occasionally lion. The birdlife is prolific and includes numerous waterbirds, with Manyara being especially famous for its flamingo flocks.

Manyara Green Camp and its sister camp Serengeti Green Camp are simple but comfortable camps that are committed to eco-friendly principles. Energy is 100% solar and food is sourced locally which supports the local community. Plastic is not used in the camps.
