The Linyanti Bush Camp is a small semi-permanent camp with a wonderful location in the Chobe Enclave, a private concession sandwiched between the Linyanti marshes and Chobe National Park proper.

Opened in 2006, it’s one of a family of bush camps (managed by African Bush Camps) in this region which aim to offer comfortable accommodation at very affordable prices.

Linyanti Bush Camp is simple in its design, with 6 en-suite Meru-style tended rooms positioned overlooking the nearby marshes, and a spacious open-air mess area.

The game-viewing is the real attraction, with a varied mix of activities available, including game viewing from the camp hides, 4x4 day and night game drives, walking safaris, motorboat and mokoro trips (depending on the water levels), and helicopter rides over the marshes (offered between April and November). The game in the region is plentiful, with wild dog and leopard sightings particularly good.

Accommodation

Linyanti Bush Camp offers six large Meru-style tents with en-suite bathrooms (flush loos and hot running water in the showers). Each tent has a large verandah overlooking the floodplains, and is furnished with a generous double bed & mozzie net, small sofa, hanging space for clothes, and writing desk.

Dining

The camp has a raised dining area which doubles as a lounge and bar. From the dining deck, steps lead down to the campfire where sundowner drinks are often enjoyed after a day of game-viewing.
