Lemala Nanyukie

Lemala Nanyukie is a permanent camp in the eastern section of the Serengeti National Park. The location is just outside of the popular Seronera area and a 30-minute drive from the less-frequented Namiri Plains, with both regions easily accessible from the camp.

Nanyukie is the latest addition to the Lemala portfolio of high-end safari camps. Game viewing is superb in this area with all of the ‘big five’ present, as well as giraffe, zebra, hyena and wild dog – to name but a few. However, the location is most famous for big cats with high numbers of cheetah, lion and leopard found here. A seasonal highlight is the wildebeest migration, which typically passes through this region between November and January.

Accommodation

Lemala Nanyukie comprises 15 tented suites and one two-bedroomed suite, which are spread out among the kopjes and shaded by indigenous acacia trees. Each room is elegantly furnished with polished hardwood flooring, enormous beds, sunken lounge area, verandah and private plunge pool. Bathrooms come with showers, his & hers washbasins, and free-standing baths.
