Just outside Oudtshoorn, in the heart of the Klein Karoo, lies the picturesque La Plume, a charming owner-run Victorian homestead set on a working ostrich, alfalfa and wine farm. The farm enjoys a tranquil location in this scenically-rich area, with striking views of the Swartberg Mountains and the Olifants River.

Accommodation

Each of La Plume's 10 bedrooms has a unique sense of style and design. In keeping with the age of the house (1902), the rooms are furnished in a 19th-century aesthetic, with antique furniture and ornate features. A luxury honeymoon room is also available. There's a three-bedroom cottage with two bathrooms that is ideal for families.
