Situated immediately outside Kilimanjaro International Airport, and offering a free shuttle service, KIA lodge is a comfortable, safari-style lodge. It enjoys a secluded hillside location, outside Arusha, and with great views of the surrounding wilderness and Kilimanjaro.
Centrally placed between the northern towns of Moshi and Arusha, KIA Lodge is a good base for those setting off on a Kilimanjaro climb or a Northern Circuit safari.
Accommodation
KIA Lodge has 40 en-suite and air conditioned rooms. Each cottage is built in a traditional style using stone and thatch, and is furnished with Tanzanian arts and crafts, including tinga tinga paintings and Makunde carvings.
KIA Lodge's swimming pool is located on top of a high hill which faces out towards Kilimanjaro, Mt Meru and the Masai steppe – the perfect spot for a sundowner!
