Ilkeliani Camp

Masai Mara Game Reserve

Ilkeliani Camp

Ilkeliani is a permanent tented camp located by the Talek River, just outside the boundaries of the Masai Mara Game Reserve.

Ilkeliani Camp is traditional in style and décor. The tents overlook the river and plains and each tent has a veranda with daybed so guests can relax and observe the wildlife from their tent. Elephants are regular visitors to the river.

Ilkeliani is positioned overlooking the Talek River, with the Masai Mara extending into the distance from the opposite bank. A draw bridge over the river separates the camp from the Mara, or for game drives guests can transfer approx 4km to the Talek Gate. Though it is located just outside the boundaries of the Mara, Ilkeliani's location on the Talek River means it is very well-placed for seeing the great wildebeest and zebra migration during the months of July through to October, and within easy reach of the core game-viewing territories.

With very reasonable rates, Ilkeliani offers exceptional value for such a well-located property.

Accommodation
