HanumanAlaya is an excellent value, eco-friendly boutique resort set in tropical gardens on the outskirts of Siem Reap, from where it enjoys easy access to the temples of Angkor.
A great alternative to the larger city hotels that dominate the town centre, HanumanAlaya is not exactly Siem Reap’s most modern boutique hotel, but its traditional Khmer rooms have a rustic charm. The quiet, residential location ensures a measure of peace and quiet, while still being within easy reach of the city’s shops and restaurants (HanumanAlaya is just a short tuk tuk ride away from the town centre).
Just around the corner from HanumanAlaya Boutique Residence, its sister property, the HanumanAlaya Villa, is a delightful traditional building with 9 rooms decorated in the same Khmer style.
Accommodation
HanumanAlaya’s 15 rooms are clean, smart and attractively decorated, with a clear Khmer influence apparent throughout. They are all unique, and come in different sizes and with different views, though the décor is much the same between them. All feature dark wooden furnishings, warm colours and hardwood floors. Amenities include air conditioning, cable TV, Wi-Fi, in-room safe and tea and coffee making facilities. There’s one family suite and one honeymooner’s suite, the Alaya room, which comes with a Jacuzzi.
HanumanAlaya Villa has an additional nine rooms, similar in design and furnishings to the rooms at HanumanAlaya Boutique. Again, they differ in size and layout, reflecting the fact that the hotel was until recently a private home.
Dining
The Reahoo Restaurant is housed in a traditional wooden building and serves Khmer as well as more familiar western cuisine. Residents of the HanumanAlaya Villa can use the restaurant in the main property though it does have its own pool bar and breakfast room.

Child Policy
Children are welcome at both HanumanAlaya Residence and Villa. There is no charge for children under the age of 12 if sharing a room.
