Guludo Beach Lodge

Quirimbas, Mozambique

Guludo Beach Lodge

Guludo is a stylish, eco-friendly beach lodge offering rustic beach accommodation on a remote island in the Quirimbas Archipelago.

Guludo Beach Lodge offers a unique opportunity to experience fair trade tourism first hand. This simple eco-camp has been designed by award-winning architects and built with local approval using locally-sourced materials, skills and labour.

Located on a 12km stretch of beach and surrounded by warm waters, Guludo Beach Lodge is a wonderful island retreat, and one of the best eco-friendly resorts in the archipelago. It offers white sand beach, palm trees and coral-fringed islands - everything you want from a remote beach retreat!

Guludo Beach Lodge offers beach and surf, but it also offers a good range of activities, both on land and water. The diving is excellent, and there's even good game-viewing to be had in nearby Quirimbas National Park, where leopard, lion, elephant, and several species of antelope and primate can be seen.

Accommodation

Guludo Beach Lodge features 9 large thatched tented bandas. The bandas are furnished with the bare essentials, including an en-suite bush shower behind a bamboo screen, and an enviro-loo, shared with one other tent.

Dining

The food at Guludo Beach Lodge is a blend of European and Mozambican cuisine, with an emphasis on fresh local fish and seafood.
