A large pool terrace and glass-fronted dining room make the most of the location, as do the stone cottage rooms, which are spread across the crest of the hill, all with views of either town or countryside.
Gondar Hills is located outside of town, meaning a short taxi ride is required for visits into and out of town without a guide or for dining out in the evening.
Note: the pictures on this page were taken by our staff in early 2019, before the hotel had formally opened and while some aspects (including the pool) were still under construction.
Accommodation
Gondar Hills accommodates its guests in large stone chalets, set in two rows on the rim of the hill. The rooms are two per unit, with thick stone walls separating each room. Inside the rooms are spacious and attractively furnished, with polished wooden flooring laid out with rugs, large double beds, and attractive rattan furnishings. Each features French doors at the back that open onto a terrace with garden table and umbrella stand.
