Etosha Oberland Lodge

Etosha Oberland Lodge is located within Etosha South, a cluster of smaller game reserves and private lands bordering Etosha National Park. Opened in early 2020, it is a comfortable mid-range safari lodge under the umbrella of the Ondili safari group, whose other properties include the lovely Desert Homestead Lodge in Sossusvlei.

Oberland is a medium-sized lodge with 18 guest chalets (3 of them family units), a swimming pool, an open-air dining and lounge area, and a large viewing deck that overlooks two water holes. The lodge is situated amidst large mopane trees, which provide welcome shade to the terraces.

Oberland Lodge is situated just outside Andersson’s Gate, giving it easy access to the southern region of Etosha National Park. This area of Etosha is a delight to explore, offering some of the best game-viewing to be had within the park.
