Chobe Savanna Lodge

Caprivi Strip, Namibia

Chobe Savanna Lodge

Chobe Savanna Lodge is situated in Namibia's eastern Caprivi Strip, on the banks of the Chobe River. Here it overlooks the vast floodplains of Chobe's Puku Flats.

Chobe Savanna Lodge is situated in the furthest corner of Namibia's Caprivi Strip, right on the border with Botswana. It overlooks the Chobe floodplains and, just across the river, its sister camp in Botswana, Chobe Game Lodge.

The Botswana/Namibia border, needless to say, doesn't place any restrictions on the movements of the wildlife, which roams freely between the two countries. Hippo, antelope, lion, elephant and buffalo frequent the floodplains in high numbers.

The public areas and chalets at Chobe Savanna Lodge are positioned close to the river so as to make the most of the views. There's a large, open-air lounge and dining area, and an attractive garden with pool and sun-loungers.

Savanna Lodge is 15km by boat from the town of Kasane, making it easy to access.
