Breezes Beach Club

Bwejuu Beach, Zanzibar

Breezes Beach Club

Breezes Beech Club is one of Zanzibar's original five-star beach resorts, and it remains one of the best. It enjoys a marvellous location on Bwejuu Beach, on Zanzibar's quiet south-eastern coast.

Breezes Beech Club is one of Zanzibar's oldest and finest five-star resorts. Its location is simply superb, stretched along Bwejuu Beach on the South-East Coast of the island (rated one of the top 30 beaches in the world by Condé Nast).

We've sent many clients to Breezes since it opened in the early 90s and the feedback has always been excellent. Though newer five-star resorts have begun to give Breezes some genuine competition, it remains one of the very best five-star resort hotels on the island, thanks to its gorgeous rooms and excellent facilities.

Accommodation

Breezes Beach Club offers 74 rooms, divided into three categories: standard, deluxe, and suites. The standard and deluxe rooms are identical except for their location, with the standard rooms further from the beach. The suites are larger and have the advantage of a generous balcony with sun loungers.

All of the rooms are well-appointed with local features and furnishings, including carved Swahili furniture, cotton throws, and traditional Zanzibari lights. There are no TVs in the rooms.

Dining

There is a good selection of restaurants with varied menus. Highlights include the Breakers Grill, a lunch restaurant on the beachfront serving barbecue and freshly caught fish; the Sultan's Table, with an Indian tandoori menu; and The Tides, a private cabin for two on the beachfront, conceived with honeymooners in mind.
