Azura Quilalea

Quirimbas Archipelago, Mozambique

Azura Quilalea

Azura Quilalea is a striking lodge, situated on a private island marine sanctuary in the Quirimbas Archipelago, and fringed with pristine beaches.

Azura Quilalea is an intimate retreat with a simply wonderful location in a private island marine sanctuary. Hidden away in a forgotten corner of Mozambique’s Quirimbas Archipelago, the lodge offers absolute seclusion and privacy, with the only residents being the hotel guests and staff.

Quilalea is one of the most unexplored and diverse marine areas in the world. Dugongs, fish eagles, turtles, and humpback whales can all be found in abundance. The coral remains unspoilt and unbleached.

Accommodation

Accommodation at Azura Quilalea consists of nine thatched, private en-suite villas, each beautifully built and set overlooking the ocean. Each villa has air conditioning, ceiling fan, king size bed, ornate local furniture and a private verandah.
