Andersson's Camp

Located on the site of an old farmstead, Andersson's is a charming camp with a terrific location overlooking a busy watering hole in the often-overlooked Ongava Game Reserve, Etosha National Park.

Located on the site of an old farmstead, Andersson's is a characterful, rustic camp with an excellent location in the little-visited Ongava Game Reserve, close to Etosha National Park. The camp overlooks a watering hole, allowing for excellent game-viewing in the dry season.

In our view, Andersson's is a good upper mid-range camp with a fantastic location. Simply but comfortably furnished, it's not a luxury camp, but the service and accommodation here is to a good standard, and the natural stone and canvas rooms and the converted farmstead give the lodge a certain charm.

Andersson's Camp offers twenty twin-bedded canvas tents set on raised wooden decks. Some, though not all, overlook the nearby watering hole. They are spaced far enough apart to allow for a good level of privacy.

Each tent has double doors leading onto a covered veranda, and en suite bathroom facilities made from natural stone, including a private open-air shower

Breakfast at Andersson's Camp is a generous buffet, while dinner is a delicious 3-course meal. The menus are fixed, but any dietary requirements can be catered for with prior notice.
