Stone Town

The winding streets and high townhouses of old Stone Town feel almost trapped in time. Visitors to the city can walk between the sultan’s palace, the House of Wonders, the Portuguese fort & gardens, and the old merchant homes, and feel as though they have slipped back in time to the era of the early spice trade.
