Masai Land Treks, Climbs and Safaris 

The Rift Valley region of North Tanzania is a vast area of wild country bounded by Mount Kilimanjaro to the east and the Rift Valley Escarpment to the west.

This is a region of Masai lands and acacia bush country that is seldom visited by tourists. It is excellent country for trekking and off road camping safaris.

From the stunning 8,500ft Mount Longido in the east, to the Rift Escarpment and Crater Highlands in the West, this is adventure safari country.

Start your safari at our camp deep in the heart of the Masai lands of West Kilimanjaro. There, at Tinga Tinga village we support several Community Projects including water pipeline, school buildings and Aids education programme.

Then head cross country to Mt.Longido and the start of the Rift Valley crossing - an Avenue of Volcanoes. After reaching the Escarpment of the Rift Valley join the main tourist circuit for a game-viewing safari to Ngorongoro, the Serengeti and Manyara.
