Malawi’s second largest city and commercial capital, Blantyre was founded in the latter half of the 19th century (pre-dating Nairobi and Johannesburg), and takes its name from the town in south Lanarkshire where David Livingstone was born.
Kuro, Lamai and Ndutu - Luxury Tanzania Safari
Kuro (Tarangire), Lamai, and Serengeti Ndutu were very different, but all terrific in their own way.

Ryalls Hotel
Ryalls is a four-star hotel originally built in the 1920s by an Englishwoman to cater for travellers on the Cape to Cairo route. It was the most famous hotel in Blantyre for many years and still retains its historic importance in the city.
