Botswana:
Tuli Block
The Tuli Block is a diverse wilderness of savannah, riverine forests, marshland, open plains and sandstone outcrops.
This is the thin strip of land along Botswana's south-eastern border at the confluence of the Limpopo and Shashe rivers. It borders South Africa to the south and Zimbabwe to the north.
It is home to the Mashatu Game Reserve, which derives its name from the magnificent Mashatu trees that occur throughout the reserve. Mashatu is also the home of no less than seven of Africa's giants: the African elephant, the lion, giraffe, the baobab tree, the eland, the ostrich, and the kori bustard. This is a wonderful location for the active; alongside driven safari game drives, horse riding and mountain biking safaris are offered.
Adventure activities
Excellent game drives and walking safaris are offered. Adventure activities such as mountain bike safaris and horseback safaris are also possible here.
