Moremi is a dedicated game reserve situated in the heart of the Okavango. Established in 1962 as a means of protecting the core of the Okavango Delta, Moremi's habitats range from mopane woodland to dry savannah plains, its vast flood plains and marshes irrigated by a network of permanent waterways and lagoons forming myriad islands.
