Raffles Hotel Le Royal

Phnom Penh, Cambodia

Raffles Hotel Le Royal

Formerly the Hotel le Royal, Raffles is Phnom Penh's oldest and most famous hotel. Decidedly grand, it features a classic aesthetic befitting its age.

Phnom Penh’s oldest and most iconic hotel, Raffles is pure timeless elegance, an exceptionally-stylish hotel whose previous guests include Jacqueline Kennedy, Charles de Gaulle and Somerset Maugham. The hotel surrounds a cool garden courtyard and is within easy reach of Wat Phnom and Phnom Penh's other major sights.

Raffles Le Royal has undergone extensive renovations since it first opened in 1929 as Le Royal Hotel, but it retains much its original “colonial” aesthetic, while also featuring the expected five-star amenities—pool, gym and a marvellous spa.

Raffles Le Royal has 170 elegant rooms and suites, all decorated in cool creams. The rooms feature air conditioning, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, direct dial telephone, in-room safe, tea and coffee making facilities and minibar.
