General Description
Situated in Gardens, an old and established suburb of Cape Town, at the foot of Table Mountain, Welgelegen House comprises two beautiful turn of the century houses, lovingly renovated and decorated in a modern style.
Accommodation
All of the 13 bedrooms are individually furnished. There is comfort evident everywhere from the candle lighting, the natural Rooibos bath products and the towelling dressing gowns in each bathroom, to the home-made biscuits, complimentary port and huge inviting armchairs in each room. The beds, which all convert to King size, are very comfortable with crisp white linen, down duvets and soft silk cushions. Most have balconies offering views of Table Mountain, Signal Hill or the patio below.
Dining
The cottage offers bed and breakfast service or may be booked self-catering. Situated near both Long and Kloof Street in the heart of Cape Town, excellent restaurants are nearby.
