Waterberg Wilderness Lodge
(Waterberg and Bushmanland - Namibia)
General Description
Waterberg Wilderness Lodge is situated on a small rise in a tropical oasis, flanked by an enormous grove of bamboo. The guest farm boasts the region's strongest natural spring, providing for lush vegetation, a variety of birdlife, reptiles and small mammals. Leopards may be seen near mountain caves as well as buffalo, and the rare and endangered roan and sable antelope.
Visitor numbers are kept low to ensure a quiet, relaxing stay, with an emphasis on personal attention. Facilities include a breakfast room, dining room and lounge with a terrace tastefully built of local sandstone.
Walks along the plateau at sunset offer spectacular views over the rocky valley.

Waterberg Wilderness Lodge consists of nine spacious rooms located within chalets scattered idyllically across the gardens. Each of them has its own private shower/WC, lounge area and roofed verandah or terrace offering views of the Waterberg cliffs. Two of the rooms are family units
