General Description
Located on Vamizi Island, 12 kilometres in length and 1,5 kilometres wide, this is the perfect destination for an intimate getaway. There are 6 different beaches on the Island, all gently shelving and perfect for swimming at low and high tide.

All the beach houses face north and are located on an 8 kilometre long beach. On the western side of the Island there is a traditional village with 300 residents.

Tropical vegetation is abundant on the island with over 40 species of tree recorded, including 5 different Mangrove species. 32 species of birds have been recorded on the island. Turtle season is from July to April and Whale season from July to October.

Accommodation
Stay in one of ten spacious sea-facing beach villas. Designed to ensure privacy, they are set 70 metres apart; each nestled in the trees and just back from the beach. The palm-thatched villas are furnished with king-size beds draped in muslin and fitted with Egyptian cotton sheets. Mozambican marble bathrooms come equipped with baths and indoor and outdoor showers.

Expansive verandahs and Swahili day beds are perfect for an afternoon siesta.

Dining
Excellent seafood is served in the restaurant overlooking the coast. Private dining on the beach can also be arranged.
