Tubu Tree Camp
(Okavango Delta - Botswana)
General Description
Located on Hunda Island, which is the largest area of permanently dry land in this area of the Okavango Delta, Tubu Tree Camp is surrounded by the grasses which many species of plains game feed on. A range of diverse habitats, ranging from dry Kalahari sandveld to riverine forest on the edge of permanent waterways, also ensures a variety of spectacular game viewing. Tubu Tree Camp has a special atmosphere, not only is it a traditional tented safari camp situated in a beautiful location but it has a very relaxed feel too. There are stunning views from Tubu's raised bar and lounge area across the surrounding plains, and the restaurant is large and airy. There is a wooden walkway which leads down to sun-loungers and an appealing plunge pool.
