General Description
Tswalu Kalahari Reserve is an exclusive luxury private, malaria free game reserve situated in the heart of the Northern Cape Province, a fantastic spot for intrepid game viewing. Situated within the dry riverbed of the Nossob and surrounded by tree savannah, Tswalu offers the ultimate safari experience in a quintessentially African dwelling. A trip to Tswalu Kalahari Reserve is unique in many ways, offering a more exclusive, more tailor-made experience.

Accommodation
The Motse is Tswalu's main accommodation, and nestles at the foot of the Korannaberg mountain range, facing westward across the grasslands of the Kalahari. Designed to blend into the mountain range surrounding the reserve, the Motse consists of eight spacious legae (small house/suite), all designed with a distinct African feel.

The legaes are built of local stone, rich red clay and typical Kalahari thatch roofs, and altogether can accommodate a maximum of 20 people. Six of the legaes are for two guests each, while two legaes were designed with families in mind, each accommodating four people. Each suite comprises a spacious bedroom, an en-suite bathroom with both indoor and outdoor walk-in shower, private sun deck overlooking a waterhole, direct dial telephone, safe and mini bar. Each legae overlooks a waterhole.

Set in its own private area of the Tswalu Game Reserve, Tarkuni is the ultimate in secluded luxury. Built amid two mountain ranges, Tarkuni is perfect for families and small groups of 8 - 12 guests. The accommodation consists of four luxury bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and outdoor heated shower, open plan lounge and dining room, library, covered patio and heated swimming pool. Specific accommodation for children is available, with two sets of bunk beds and separate nanny quarters with two single beds and a bathroom en suite. 

Private game viewing vehicles are included as well as a dedicated chef. 

Dining
At the main house in The Motse, guests can either enjoy meals in the dining room, or in the privacy of their own suite lounge.
