General Description

This former home of a mining family has been meticulously transformed into a luxurious haven for the discerning traveller and business executive. Teremok means “little hideaway” in Russian and is an oasis of serenity close to the beach. Hands-on owners (associated with The Barnyard Theatre at Gateway) ensure that personalised service and attention to detail are mandatory in this multi-million rand Umhlanga development.

The Teremok Lodge enjoys close proximity to the beach and is located in close walking distance to shopping centers and restaurants. Featuring a Health and Beauty Spa, the Teremok Lodge is a true oasis of serenity. Each room at the Teremok Lodge in Umhlanga provides its own balcony offering nice views over the ocean and landscaped gardens.

Accommodation

Each individually decorated room offers extra length beds (twin or king size), handcrafted ceiling fans, air-conditioning and, while most have a separate entrance, each has its own private balcony. The open plan bathrooms have a large shower, freestanding bath, double basins and a separate toilet and bidet. Extras include a home entertainment system with DVD player and flat screen TV as well as free ADSL internet connection.

Dining and Food

Delicious homemade breakfasts are prepared by two specially trained cooks in the open plan kitchen. The menu works on a six day cycle and each offers a selection of cereals and yoghurt while the remaining three courses consist of a fruit dish, pastries, muffins or breakfast breads and two hot breakfast options.

Food is not cooked at Teremok in the evening, but you can send out for it.

The Wellness Centre is equipped with cardio-vascular equipment such as bicycles and a treadmill as well as free weights. Guests can choose from numerous different treatments, which include massages, pedicures, manicures, reflexology, aromatherapy as well as acupressure. The Wellness Centre at the Teremok Lodge is open from 05h00 to 22h00
