Suyan Camp

General Description
Suyan Camp is located in a private concession area in the Loliondo region, part of the Serengeti National Park. For centuries, the rugged Loliondo area has been the territory of nomadic tribes.
Suyan Camp is an excellent base from which to explore the area. Walking safaris are conducted from the camp, and will take exploring travellers deep into this wild and ancient land, finding wildlife, mountains, gorges, volcanoes, cultural experiences at Masai settlements and the peace and tranquility of nature. In addition, Suyan Camp has ideal access to the recently discovered and so far hardly explored Piaya rock paintings.
Accommodation
Suyan has five beautifully designed guest tents all ensuite and with private verandah.

The camp offers gourmet food and great wines, served either in the mess tent or next to the camp fire.

Environmental Policy
Suyan Camp is a member of the Honeyguide Foundation, a grassroots organisation dedicated to community support and to the conservation of wildlife. Established in 2006 by the Asilia Group, the Foundation is an independent entity that supports specific projects in the areas where the Group has a presence.
The Foundation is trying to cover a wide range of different projects. These projects include improving education and health care in local communities, supporting small local, eco-friendly businesses and initiating land use plans.
