General Description
Resembling a turn-of-the-century, east African ranch house, Sasakwa Lodge is a grand affair boasting a wonderful hill-top location. With awe-inspiring panoramas across the great Serengeti plains, every effort has been made here to celebrate the spectacular views.

The main ranch house includes a glamorous dining room, comfortable bar/lounge, garden room, family television room, library, wood-panelled billiards room and wine cellar. The interiors are beautifully furnished: Venetian mirrors and crystal chandeliers meet Congolese artifacts and leather armchairs – and virtually every one of the rooms opens onto the wide wrap-around verandah to offer unrivalled views of the lush lawns, spectacular main pool and wilderness beyond.

The lodge also features two tennis courts (clay and grass), a gymnasium, spa with steam room, a heated swimming pool and jacuzzi. The equestrian centre is only a few minutes walk from Sasakwa and is home to sixteen well-bred horses.

Accommodation
Sasakwa Lodge has 7 luxurious cottages offering between 1 and 4 bedrooms. All cottages are en-suite with a bath and shower, as well as a guest toilet. Each cottage has a dressing room, private living room, verandah with spotting scope and garden. Cottage facilities include a heated plunge pool, a personal bar and fridge, electronic safe, air-conditioning, overhead fan, hairdryer, direct dial telephone, wireless internet access and a fireplace.

Dining
Possible dining areas at Sasakwa Lodge include the dining room, the front lawn, the garden room, or the lounge and library. A wide selection of fine wines, champagnes and sparkling wines, cognacs, cigarettes and cigars are available.
