Quilalea

(Quirimbas Archipelago - Mozambique)

General Description
Quilalea is a stunning property, boasting a wonderful location within a private island marine sanctuary. Nestling in a forgotten corner of Mozambique’s Quirimbas Archipelago, the lodge offers the ultimate in seclusion and privacy, with the only residents being the hotel guests and staff.

Quilalea is one of the most unexplored and diverse marine areas in the world. Dugongs, fish eagles, sharks, turtles, and humpback whales can all be found in abundance. The coral remains unspoilt and unbleached.

Accommodation
Accommodation consists of nine thatched, private en-suite villas, each beautifully built and set overlooking the ocean. Each villa has air conditioning, ceiling fan, king size bed, ornate local furniture and a private verandah.

Dining
Set on a peninsula at the north end of the island, Quilalea restaurant offers beautiful ocean views to both the west and the east. Meals are a blend of Mozambican and Portuguese cuisine. Dining on the beach can be arranged.
