General Description
Phinda Game Reserve is rich in both game and scenery, boasting the diversity of seven contrasting ecosystems, including sand forest, mountain bushveld and wetlands. It is located to the north of Hluhluwe and the St. Lucia Wetlands.

Phinda offers thrilling game viewing, soft adventure and inspired lodge design. Guests here can enjoy game drives, safari walks, birding, rhino tracking, boat cruises and canoeing. Wildlife attractions include lion, elephant, cheetah, leopard, rhino, hippo and prolific bird life.

Accommodation
There are five lodges, all of which are spacious, luxurious and beautifully designed, along with a sole-use villa. Each offers first class service and cuisine.

Phinda Forest Lodge boasts 16 glass chalets hidden on the floor of the sand forest while the Mountain Lodge boasts 20 air-conditioned suites. Vlei Lodge consists of six stilted glass and thatch suites situated in the rare Dry Sand Forest.

Rock Lodge consists of six exceptional suites suspended from the side of a rocky cliff. Each suite has a spacious bedroom with bath, shower, twin hand basins and separate w.c. Zuka Lodge consists of four Zululand thatched bush cottages.

Getty House is a sophisticated sole-use villa, situated in the west of the Phinda Reserve on 3,500 hectares of land.
