General Description

Ngong House is a very unusual place to stay in the Karen/Langata area of Nairobi, private and luxurious, children will simply love the tree houses! The lodge overlooks the Ngong Hills, just a few minutes away from what used to be Karen Blixen’s coffee farm. Secluded in 10 acres of private land, the tree houses do not overlook each other. Ngong House is close to Nairobi National Park and just 20 minutes from the city centre.

Accommodation

Accommodation is mainly in luxurious and spacious tree-houses designed with extreme comfort in mind. Every unit is different in design some have two levels with bedrooms upstairs and living areas on the lower floor. The tree houses are raised 15 ft from the ground to gain uninterrupted views of the Ngong Hills over unspoiled bush.
There are six tree houses, a private cottage which faces the swimming pool and a log cabin which is perfect for families as it sleeps up to six people.

Dining and Food

Dining at Ngong House is a real delight. Breakfast and lunch are served in the garden under a canopy of acacia trees while dinner is served in a half open thatched rondavel with a grand fireplace, or in another secluded area of the lodge. Pre dinner drinks and bitings are served around the camp fire where there is an opportunity to meet other guests and to chat with your host.

Child Policy

Children are welcome however due to the steps and height of the tree houses, this accommodation is not suitable for small children.
