General Description
Muchenje Safari Lodge is situated on the western side of Chobe National Park and is the only lodge in this area so visitors in this region are fewer. Set on an escarpment overlooking the banks of the Chobe River, the lodge has stunning views across the flood plain. Privately owned and managed, this intimate lodge accommodates only 20 Guests in comfortable Chalets overlooking the Chobe River and floodplains. The elegant main lodge incorporates a dining area, bar and viewing platform, while the swimming pool offers fantastic views and provides a relaxing setting for guests. The lodge is only forty minutes drive from Kasane and two hours from Livingstone/Victoria Falls.

Accommodation
Each of the 11 en-suite thatched chalets is beautifully furnished with an African ambience and with mains electricity. With your own private deck you have the opportunity to relax and enjoy the views and wildlife.  

Dining and Food
The main lodge has a dining area, bar and fabulous viewing platform. The meals served are delicious and guests dine together on one long table.

Safari activities at Muchenje include game drives in open Land Rovers, Boat cruises along the Chobe River, night drives, bush walks and cultural visits to local villages.
