General Description
Marlin Lodge enjoys a wonderful location on a long unspoiled stretch of beach on Benguerra Island, part of the Bazaruto Archipelago, a National Marine Park. The resort offers you the chance to relax in the beautiful surrounds of rich marine life.

The atmosphere at Marlin Lodge is friendly and relaxed. Built on elevated wooden stilts to protect the fragile dune environment, the Lodge overlooks a tranquil Flamingo Bay. The dining-area is the centerpiece of the Lodge, crafted from ironwood and red mahogany, with views out to the sea. For those just looking to relax, there is a freshwater pool set in a glade of Coconut and Ilala palms, as well as a wellness spa.

The Island is the perfect location for those looking to enjoy a wide range of water sports. Water-skiing, fishing, parasailing and diving (with a dedicated dive centre) are all available.

Accommodation
The Marlin Lodge beach chalets are all sea-facing, set just above the beach, and only a few steps from the white sands of Flamingo Bay beach. Each of the Luxury beach chalets is 60sqm on the inside and has a 17sqm verandah - a perfect location for a private dinner for two. The inside of the chalets is constructed with sophisticated designed finishes, including slated flooring, plastered surfaces and soft lighting.

The larger Executive suite is the perfect haven for the discerning traveler. Similar to the Beach Chalets, the inside of the Executive suite is constructed with more sophisticated finishes such as slated flooring, plastered surfaces and soft lighting.

Solar power supplies electricity for lighting and overhead fans.

Dining
The food is excellent, with an emphasis on fresh seafood and spicy meats all complimented by South African wines. Dinner is served in the main thatched dining room or amongst the palms on the beach.
