General Description
Manda Bay is located on the north-western tip of Manda Island, one of the many unspoiled, idyllic islands of the Lamu archipelago. An exclusive resort, Manda Bay offers relaxation, a variety of water sports, dhow safaris and luxurious pampering in a serene setting. Surrounded by miles of soft white sand, Manda Bay is the perfect retreat for families and honeymooners.

There is a games room overlooking the sea with a pool table, darts and table tennis, and there is a central dining room as well as a separate bar/sitting area featuring locally crafted Lamu furniture situated right on the sea wall overlooking the ocean. The cottages are in keeping with the local landscape and were constructed using local materials.

Manda Bay offers guests a chance to relax and unwind from the pressures of the real world, but for the more adventurous type the variety of activities is abundant. Guests can choose from Deep Sea fishing in search of the Marlin and Sailfish, windsurfing, water skiing and scuba diving to name a few. With regular sightings of Dolphins, turtles and the occasional Humpback whale the Marine life excels.

Accommodation
The cottages are in keeping with the local landscape and were constructed using local materials. All of the cottages have large ceiling fans, en-suite bathrooms, and their own private verandah’s overlooking the Indian Ocean.

Dining
The cuisine at Manda Bay naturally features a marine flavour - freshly caught tuna, Mangrove crab and prawns are all common features on the menu at Manda Bay. The staff can also cater for any special requests and flexible mealtimes can be arranged to fit in with guest’s individual requirements. Romantic candle lit dinners can be bought straight to your cottage verandah so you can enjoy total privacy.
