Lake Manyara Tree Lodge

General Description
Lake Manyara Tree Lodge is the only lodge situated in the remote South-Western shore of Lake Manyara. With its unique position, the Lodge offers its guests a magnificent natural setting consisting of lush plains and tall ancient mahogany forests.
Built in the trees using indigenous natural materials, and decorated in warm colours, the lodge blends in harmoniously with the forest. There is a dining room and outdoor boma, as well as a swimming pool and craft shop. In addition, the lodge places at the disposition of the guests an interactive kitchen where visitors can learn first hand everything they might want to know about pan-African cooking. Lake Manyara Tree Lodge will captivate visitors by the sheer magic of its atmosphere and its interminable views over the virgin forest.
Accommodation
Accommodation is in ten luxurious tree lodges, each with en-suite bathrooms and outdoor showers. The tree houses have been crafted from local timber and makuti (palm fronds) and feature large open decks and wide open windows. The beds can be either double or twin. There is a private verandah in each room boasting stunning views of the surrounding forest.
Dining
Meals are served in the main dining area or outdoor boma. Picnics by the lake are also a highlight.
