General Description
La Reserve is one of Seychelles' most beautiful resorts, located on a private secluded white sandy beach on the north west of Praslin Island and surrounded by tropical gardens of orchids, bougainvilleas, coconut palm, mango and banyan trees. This is one of Praslin's most distinguished small hotels, sheltered by the surrounding hills and nearby Curieuse island.

La Reserve is a wonderful example of the traditional Seychelles colonial style, from the tile roofs to the gingerbread trim on the central lodge buildings. Afternoon tea is served in a wonderful villa built at the turn of the century, which at night becomes the bar and theatre.

The over-water restaurant (candlelit at night) is suspended on high columns jetting out 100 feet into the bay and is the only one of its kind in the Seychelles. This is a romantic hideaway ideal for honeymooners. There is also a lovely swimming pool.

Accommodation
Accommodation consists of 40 (both deluxe and superior) sea-facing rooms in detached bungalows with king-size four poster beds, private shower, a/c, tea- /coffee-making facilities, minibar, safe, hairdryer and terrace. The rooms are all decorated in authentic Creole style, with local paintings and finishes.

There is also a family bungalow with two interconnecting rooms.

Dining
A candlelit meal at the Jetty Restaurant offers one of the most memorable dining experiences in all of the Seychelles – with the sea, jostling fish, and the lights of the anchored yachts in the bay forming the backdrop.
