Kicheche Mara Camp

General Description
Kicheche Mara Camp is a classic tented camp, situated in a grove of wild olive and croton trees, in a prime wildlife area of the northern Mara plains. Kicheche Mara Camp is located on the Aitong Plains in the northern Koiyaki Lemek region of the famous Masai Mara.

The camp accommodates only a small number (22 guests max.) helping to maintain an intimate and relaxed atmosphere. The spacious Nyati tent acts as the camp lounge with comfortable seating, a library, board games, cards and local crafts for décor.

Accommodation
Accommodation is in spacious, fully insect-proof Selous style tents (eleven twins/doubles), equipped with cedar beds, linen, bedside tables, luggage racks and rugs. Bathrooms are en-suite and are equipped with a dresser, shower and flushing toilet and running water. There are canvas directors and deck chairs on the veranda and hammocks slung between nearby trees. Triple tents and family tents (1 double & 2 single beds) are available on request.

The majority of the tents are in secluded positions overlooking the plains and nearby hills, while others are closer together for families or friends.

Dining
The menu features both African and international dishes, made from fresh produce. Meals are usually served al fresco and guests may choose to dine alone or at the communal table.
