This family owned and operated, private game reserve spans nearly 9,000 hectares of pristine African wilderness incorporating the picturesque Kariega and Bushman's Rivers. Kariega game lodge offers a unique combination of Big-5 game viewing with a variety of fauna, flora and birdlife in a landscape that incorporates five different eco-systems, displaying the most dramatic views and vistas.

The lodges cater to a variety of needs. Kariega Main Lodge and The Homestead are perfect for groups of friends and families - they cater for younger children but also for the privacy of other guests.
Ukhozi Lodge and River Lodge offer absolute exclusivity and privacy for couples, with children under 12 not allowed.
