General Description
This unique island is situated at the meeting place of two mighty African rivers, the Chobe and Zambezi, and four countries, Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Botswana. Impalila Island forms the north-eastern tip of Namibia and lies just 70km's west of Victoria Falls. The surrounding area is an amazing mosaic of waterways, floodplains and bushveld - host to exceptional birdlife, game viewing and assorted vegetation, and in the waters, outstanding fishing opportunities.

Impalila is also the most secluded and remote of the Chobe destinations but close enough to offer guests the very best of the Chobe River game viewing by boat.

Accommodation
There are eight en-suite chalets, all with private verandahs. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated.

Dining
Dining is usually al fresco under the baobab canopy, privately on your own deck, or even romantic dinners on a river sandbank or island. The bar boasts a comprehensive stock of South African wines.
