Illyria House is an old colonial style villa, occupying a wonderful location in a quiet suburb of Pretoria. Set in tranquil gardens, teeming with birds, it is easy to see why Illyria House is often referred to as a ‘little paradise’. Despite its city location, Illyria House remains entirely exclusive and private – a true city retreat, with views looking out across the Jacaranda treetops to the Union Buildings.

Illyria House is famous for its exceptional hospitality and service. There are no set menus here, the chef will prepare whatever you wish to eat, while your personal butler is responsible for organising historical tours, country picnics, shopping, and transfers to attractions in the city and surrounding areas.

Facilities include swimming pool, luxury spa and a well stocked wine cellar.

Accommodation
There are six en suite beautifully furnished bedrooms. Each of the rooms come equipped with hairdryer, mini-bar facilities, coffee/tea making facilities, DSTV, fan, heaters and heated towel rails.

Food is very well prepared, and taken in the in the dining room overlooking the garden.
